Site Address

When searching by address, there are several things to remember.

  • Addresses can be tricky.  If you enter an address and no information is returned, you may need to modify the information.  Example:  If 707 20th St W does not return any results, try entering 707 20th St.

  • Ensley addresses that include ‘Avenue’, ‘Court’, and ‘Terrace’ must be spelled out and put in the name field.  Example:  Avenue U, Court Q and Terrace M.

  • Several addresses in Birmingham contain fractions such as 1/2 as part of the address.  Unless you are certain that the address contains a fraction, skip this box.   Note:  Do not enter Apartment numbers in this box.

  • Several streets have the same name but are in different areas of Birmingham.  Therefore, some addresses may include a community at the end of the Street Name.  The following communities may appear as part of the street name:

BR - Brownsville

DO -Dolomite

EN - Ensley

PC -Pratt City

RC -Roosevelt City

TH -Thomas

WL - Wylam
